Are you passionate about coaching and helping student-athletes achieve their full potential both on and off the track? St. Ambrose University is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Athletics Department as an Assistant Track Coach. The successful candidate will have coaching responsibilities in track and cross country, and assist in the recruitment of the men' and women's track and cross-country programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Track Coach in all aspects of the track and field program as well as the cross country program, including recruiting, training, and game-day coaching.
Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance the performance of student-athletes in specific track and cross country events.
Provide mentorship and support to student-athletes, fostering their growth and success in athletics and academics.
Promote a positive team culture emphasizing sportsmanship, discipline, and teamwork.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree required
Experience in collegiate athletics preferred.
Strong understanding of NAIA rules and regulations regarding recruiting and eligibility.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring student-athletes.
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment and demonstrate leadership qualities.
