PERA is currently accepting applications for a part-time Assistant Track & Field Coach (Throws). This is a 9 month (.20 FTE) faculty position and is not benefits eligible.
Assistant Track & Field Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the Track & Field programs. Duties include but are not limited to teaching and coaching of student-athletes at daily practices and team competitions, practice and meet preparation, implementation of fundraising and community service activities, recruitment of qualified student-athletes, and program promotion through social media. This position will work primarily to lead and develop our throws group.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree is required. Previous experience as a high school or college coach and/or a strong background as a track athlete are preferred. USATF Level 1 certification or higher preferred. CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required upon hire. Must possess a valid US driver license. This position requires a background check including driving record.
Salary The Assistant Track & Field Coach (Throws) is a part time faculty position with a salary of $2,588 for three months, no benefits.
