The Assistant Tutor supports the Learning Services unit in managing the tutoring program, ensuring effective and efficient tutoring services for the student-athletes. This role involves assisting the day-to-day operations of the tutoring program, including scheduling initial and on-going tutoring sessions, running daily attendance reports, maintain records, assisting with the recruitment and training of tutors, and providing support to both tutors and student-athletes. In addition, this position is responsible for communicating student-athlete academic progress to the assigned academic counselors.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and various digital devices, including, but not limited to: cell phone, printer, copy machine, and other related devices. This job requires flexibility and adaptability in schedule and the ability to perform job related duties on short notice.

Hours of Work
This is a part-time position. Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; work when classes are in session (fall, spring, summer) and one week prior to the start of each session.
