Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of Athletics invites applications for the position of Assistant Volleyball Coach who will serve as the Head Beach Coach. The successful candidate will assist the Director of Volleyball with all phases of a Division 1 intercollegiate beach/indoor volleyball program including instruction and training of student-athletes in on-court operations, physical and mental player development, motivation, mentorship, instilling disciplines and developing technical skills through quality practice and excellent communication. The successful candidate is responsible for working with administrative staff regarding overseeing all recruiting efforts, scheduling of practice, training, competition, equipment, including uniforms, travel arrangements, budget management, meal accommodations, supervision and evaluation of assistant coaches, fundraising, speaking engagements, short and long-term planning, and upholding the departmental university mission statements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. A minimum of five years of coaching or playing experience with at least one of the five years at the collegiate level or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree from an accredited university.
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations in Division 1 Athletics
