Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Women’s Assistant Soccer Coach. This is a full time, 10-month reporting position with benefits. Under the general direction of the Head Women’s Soccer Coach, this coach will assist with the responsibilities of the NCAA D-III Women’s Soccer program in accordance and compliance with NCAA, NCAC, and Kenyon College policies and regulations. The Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach will work with the head coach to fulfill the following responsibilities: assisting the Head Coach with recruiting, planning and running practice sessions, and game day responsibilities. Prior collegiate coaching experience along with goalkeeping coaching is preferred. Additional responsibilities will be assigned in game management, facility overview, teaching, and / or administration.

Position Summary:

The Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach serves the Department of Athletics, Fitness and Recreation in the Division of Student Affairs. This position reports to the Head Women’s Soccer Coach and supports the mission of the College in its focus on student development, outcomes and success.

This is a ten (10) month position with benefits that includes morning, evening and weekend responsibilities.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide assistance to the Head Women’s Soccer Coach.
  • Take charge of game film breakdown and preparation for team viewing; share video with NCAC teams in accordance with NCAC policy; if a film breakdown company is being utilized, work with them to fulfill program needs.
  • Arrange accommodations for food and lodging for team travel, team events, and recruiting.
