The Assistant Women's Softball Pitching Coach will assist the Head Softball Coach with games, practices, recruiting prospective student-athletes, field prep requirements, as well as focusing on positions training and strategy. All responsibilities will be under the leadership of the Head Coach and/or the Director of Athletics. This is a part-time position.

Running Drills and Position Groups Specific to Infield and Outfield
Shared Field Work After Practice and Before Game Days
First Base Coach and Specific Position Coaching for Fall Play Date and spring Games
Recruiting - The ability to work at camps and recruiting events during summer and fall recruiting

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
Prerequisites for the Job:
One or more years of successful high school, college, or private coaching experience is preferred
Proven ability to communicate effectively one-on-one, in small groups, and in public speaking contexts
Proven ability to communicate ideas and priorities effectively to promote teamwork and achieve desired results
Demonstrated strategic planning skills and an ability to assess the team’s competitive strengths and vulnerabilities
Demonstrated skill in making strategic recommendations to enhance the team’s performance
Ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule
Time Commitment:
24 Practice/Individual/Weights Days in the Fall plus Play Day
Practices, Weight Training and All Games in the Spring
Office time can be worked around other jobs/commitments if needed
