Position Overview

The Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Volleyball Coach with all facets of the

NCAA

Div. I women’s intercollegiate volleyball program. The position reports directly to the Head Volleyball Coach. Duties include: Video exchange, breakdown of practice and game film; on-the-floor coaching during practices and games; recruiting of top-quality student-athletes; assist with team travel, assist with monitoring academics, promotional and public relations activities; compliance logs; collegiate summer camps; and other duties as assigned by the head coach. Position Qualifications

- Volleyball coaching experience at the College, High School or club level

- Master’s degree - Intercollegiate competitive experience as a player - Successful volleyball coaching experience with college women, preferably at NCAA Div. I level - Ability to recruit top-quality student-athletes at the NCAA Div. I level - Familiarity with Northwest recruiting areas - Demonstrated public relations, organizational, and communication skills - Solid computer skills relating to recruiting and camp administration - Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to comply with NCAA and conference rules and regulations - Coaching and administrative experience with summer camps - Able to work full time | | Physical Requirements & Working Conditions |
- Ability to lift, carry, and/or otherwise move 50 pounds (video equipment) - Ability to hit balls in practices and game warm-ups | | Degree Requirement | Listed degree qualification is required at time of application |
