The Assistant Coach will be involved in all aspects of coaching responsibilities including recruiting, practice, organization, scheduling, trip organization, fundraising, alumni relations and summer camps. This position will have responsibilities as the Intramural Director. Other potential responsibilities may include game management, marketing, advertising and promotions, special events, and Office of Admission recruiting. This position may be assigned teaching responsibilities based on the candidate’s degree, prior teaching experience and area of expertise.
Master’s degree.
Volleyball coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level
Demonstrated commitment or proven strategies for fostering a diverse and inclusive environment and demonstrated ability or proven strategies to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds are required.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive relationships through the recruitment process and student-athlete experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and effective human relation skills.
Preference will be given to candidates with collegiate coaching experience.
Upper Midwest collegiate recruiting experience.
Fundraising, camp programming, specials events, and game management experience.
Knowledge of
NCAA
rules and regulations.
