Assistant Women’s Wrestling Coach

Defiance College, an NAIA institution and member of the WHAC located in Northwest Ohio, seeks qualified applicants for an Assistant Women’s Wrestling Coach.

The individual will serve as the primary assistant to the head coach and responsibilities will include: recruiting; match/practice planning and preparation; fundraising; assisting head coach in all phases of student-athlete development and evaluation; academic monitoring; and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting the mission of Defiance College, as well as adherence to institutional, NAIA, and WHAC policies and procedures.

A bachelor’s degree, previous coaching experience, and a valid driver’s license are required. Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate strong communication skills, recruiting experience, and the ability to lead and serve our student-athletes. This is a full-time, 10-month position (August 1-May 31).
