JOB SUMMARY:

Assistant Womens Basketball Coach will work with the head basketball in all facets of the program. This includes the day-to-day operations of practice and game preparation. Recruitment of prospective student-athletes is a major focus of this position.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the mission of Greensboro College and its athletics program
• Recruit qualified student-athletes
• Empower the student-athletes to become better students, players and people
• Aid in retention through academic, financial and athletic monitoring
• Implement and teach proper techniques and weight room safety
• Implement and develop all game plans
• Weekly academic monitoring
• Team travel itineraries
• Game day set up
• Equipment & software
• All other duties as assigned by the Head Basketball Coach

Qualifications

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree required
• Excellent communication skills
• High energy with ability to work in group settings to achieve highest level of performance
