ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Associate Athletics Director/External Operations

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Apply Now· Develop and execute an effective marketing and business plan for the department of athletics within the University’s marketing plan.
· Ensure a cohesive approach to branding initiatives and awareness.
· Supervise game day environment for all sports, work in coordination with Athletic Communications to maximize fan opportunities.
· Game day set up for game environment activities.
· Serve as Department representative at community and external related functions.
· Assist the Director of Athletics in gaining new Partners and increasing external revenue.
· Creates and manages donor portfolios for all Athletic Donors.
· Utilizes University and Departmental resources and personnel when needed on Donor visits.
· Creates a strategic ticketing plan, philosophy to application.
· Works closely with University Development/Alumni to identify, develop and monitor donors and potential Athletic projects.
· Modify and manage Athletic Annual Fund.
· Other duties as assigned by Director of Athletics.
ADDITIONAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES (FUNCTIONS, DUTIES)

4. Safety: Employee works safely, attends safety training offered/required, and follows appropriate safety rules and regulations. In relation to level of NIMs training completed, participates in incident management preparation, and performs incident duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Marketing, Sports Marketing, Sports Administration, or closely related field. Master’s degree required in Sports Administration or Marketing or closely related field.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Sports Administration or External Operations.
