The Associate Athletic Director is an administrative position within the Department of
Athletics who will report to the Vice-President for Athletics. The position will have primary
oversight of NCAA compliance including involvement and/or direction of special
events/championships, some facility oversight and fundraising efforts. The position will also
include sport supervision which may include support areas (i.e., strength and conditioning,
facility management, sports information, and/or sports medicine) dependent on the
experience of the selected candidate.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with successful collegiate experience, including
effective communication/organizational skills. Also, candidates should have an athletics
philosophy compatible with a Division III liberal arts college with highly selective academic
standards.
Preferred: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and 6 or more years of
relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, organizational, and
written/oral communication skills as well as a demonstrated commitment to professional
development.
