About This Role:
Lamar University is looking for an Associate Athletics Director – Marketing to join our team. In this role, you will oversee promoting and advertising Lamar University Athletics. You will oversee a team of full-time staff members, including the Assistant Director Athletics Marketing, a Graphic Designer, and student athletics marketing team. Your main responsibilities will include managing the Lamar University Athletics brand and licensing, creating and implementing advertising campaigns, and working with the ticket sales team and the Director of Marketing Communications to ensure a consistent branding and marketing strategy.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communication, sports management, or related field.
- 3-5 years of related job experience.
- Two (2) to Three (3) years of experience in athletic marketing/fan experiences.
- Experience managing a team.
- Knowledge in creating marketing collateral and/or concepts for an athletic department.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
- A basic understanding of college athletics.
