The Associate Athletics Ticket Manager assists in overseeing all ticket operations for paid events and is responsible for up-to-date reporting as needed for presales and away ticket sales, monitoring and pursuing payment for accounts receivables, balancing of cash drawer, responsible for deposits daily, responsible for cash given and received from window sales.
The individual must verify the actual number of tickets received and compare to totals on manifest; File final ticket audit with the Athletics Business Office at the end of each season. Audit is to be verified by the Appalachian State University auditing division; Conduct inventory of all tickets at the end of each season.
The Associate Athletics Ticket Manager assists the Ticket Manager with supervision of Ticket Office personnel and game-day personnel of any events assigned. Coordinates game-day ticket sellers. Prepare and record tickets and money issued to each seller. Obtain necessary payroll information and records and turn in information to the appropriate office. Correspond with each seller as to hours needed, changes in scheduling and any other information necessitated. They must also serve as Lead Manager for all sports assigned and/or non-Athletic events.
The Associate Athletics Ticket Manager must also work closely with Marketing to promote specials and are responsible for social media marketing to promote ticket sales. Assists Ticket Manager with advertising and promotions with all sports.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required for this Position
Advanced knowledge/experience with Paciolan Ticketing System (Pac 7 and Back office system)
Knowledge of Standard operations of an Athletic Ticket Office
Experience with cultivating donor relationships
Excellent customer service skills and techniques
Knowledge of

rules and regulations
Oversee ticket operations of various paid athletic and non-athletic events.
Responsible for all required reporting as needed for audits, presales and away tickets
Daily deposit reporting
Preparation and filing of assigned financial reconciliations of ticketed sports to be submitted to the Athletic Business Office as well as the Internal Audit department of App State Campus.
Manage Ticket Personnel of your assigned Sport(s)
Bachelor’s degree in Management or Business Administration; or an equivalent level of combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Advanced knowledge of Paciolan Ticketing and Donor System along with advanced knowledge of
