Position Summary
UCLA Athletics is seeking an Associate Director of Broadcast Engineering to work with UCLA’s Broadcast Operations Department. UCLA is seeking a successful individual will be a self-motivated, team-oriented, organized, problem solver that can orchestrate live event production needs. UCLA Broadcast Operations Department produces events for Big Ten Network, Big Ten +, and other digital platforms, as well as in-venue video board displays. The Associate Director of Broadcast Engineering should be a self-starter who is organized and holds exceptional troubleshooting skills which will be required for innovative solutions to complex problems. This individual will collaborate with full, part-time, and student staff to oversee that all broadcast equipment is in good working order, is setup in proper manner, and is being operating appropriately. In addition, the position will be responsible for maintaining all broadcast infrastructure. A successful candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced, multi-purpose space within a large organization that supports an intercollegiate athletics program with 25 teams and 700 student-athletes. The individual will be expected to develop a thorough understanding of the UCLA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics mission and goals, and comply with all NCAA and BIG Ten expectations.

Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
