The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics competes at the highest level of intercollegiate athletics with the vision to reach Next Level Success for all 18 varsity teams and more than 500 student-athletes. The Bearcats have a proud athletics history, winning eight national championships and 117 conference titles. The University of Cincinnati (UC), Department of Athletics seeks applications for an Associate Director of Broadcast and Production. This is a full-time position, salaried, with a comprehensive benefits package. The position requires evening and weekend hours.
The Associate Director will report to the Executive Producer of Broadcast and Production and will coordinate, direct, and participate in creative development and execution of all live-game productions, video board shows, and in-venue needs for the University of Cincinnati, as well as for ESPN and Big 12 Now Plus.
In addition, the Associate Director will assist in helping the staff prepare for all video needs. This position will work with students and help teach and train them to learn the basics of broadcast television while working side by side during live events. The Associate Director will be responsible for assisting in all other media functions for the Department of Athletics as assigned and while following University of Cincinnati and departmental policies, NCAA Division I, and Conference bylaws and regulations.
Bachelor's Degree
Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Three (3) years of relevant work experience in a live or studio production environment
