Experience working with apparel and equipment, fitting and modifying gear, setting up and assisting at practice and during games for a football program.
Collegiate or professional football equipment management experience.
The Iowa State University Athletics Department is seeking hard working, responsible, motivated candidates for an entry-level, post-graduate position supporting football equipment operations. This position will receive exposure to professional aspects of collegiate equipment management in a progressive learning mode.
The ideal candidates must possess knowledge of athletic equipment services and football gear, effective communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, and be highly organized. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body. This position requires the ability to work at assigned evening practices, weekend competitions and travel overnight for away games.
Position Details : Structured similar to a post-grad internship. Aproximately $28,000/year plus overtime pay; receives paid time off; full benefits package.
Term of Appointment : One-year term. Through May 2025
*Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.

• Grasps professional-level knowledge and concepts of field while working in a progressive learning mode
• Works on problems and issues of somewhat limited scope
• Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data for which answers are available or can be obtained
• Responds to inquiries and issues, escalating to manager or higher level workers as appropriate
• May lead projects of limited scope and complexity
• May provide guidance to students
