Job Summary
Responsible for the organization, development, and leadership of a varsity intercollegiate women’s basketball program in support of the mission and core values of the Athletic Department/University. Coach and manage NCAA DII women’s basketball with minimal or no supervision. Duties may include hiring staff; recruiting and retaining top prospective student-athletes; establishing a competitive schedule; coordinating, practice planning, skill development, and designing strategies that prepare the team for competition; mentoring student athletes; overseeing booster clubs and development initiatives; organizing sports camps; and budget management; collaborate with numerous athletic and University units; demonstrate adherence to NCAA rules and regulations.

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
