With a tradition of athletic and academic excellence, we are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to serve as the Associate Head Coach, Men’s and Women’s Swimming. This role will play a critical role in assisting the head coach with all facets of coaching and overseeing a Division I swimming program at the University of Arizona Athletics and supporting our mission of holistic student-athlete development.
This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel for competition and recruiting.

Oversee all aspects of coaching, training, and mentoring student-athletes in the Men's and Women's Swim and Dive programs.
Develop and implement comprehensive training programs that focus on individual and team performance improvement.
Recruit highly talented student-athletes to ensure a competitive roster.
Foster a positive team culture that promotes sportsmanship, academic excellence, and personal growth.
Collaborate with academic advisors and support staff to monitor and support student-athletes' academic progress and overall well-being.
Assist in the management of the team budget, providing effective and efficient guidance with travel expenses, equipment, and operational expenses.
Represent the university and the swim and dive programs in a professional manner at conferences, competitions, and public events.
Uphold NCAA, conference, and university policies and regulations.
Maintain strong relationships with alumni, donors, and community stakeholders to support program initiatives and fundraising efforts.
Serve as a role model for student-athletes, demonstrating integrity, leadership, and commitment to excellence.
Additional duties as assigned.

Strong understanding of NCAA rules and regulations pertaining to swim and dive programs.
Master’s Degree
Previous collegiate or professional swim and dive experience
Coaching certifications from relevant governing bodies (e.g., ASCA, USA Swimming)
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel for competition and recruiting

Notice of Availability of the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses. These reports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
