Description
This position will assist the Head Coach with the oversight of the women's soccer program. The Associate Head Coach, Women's Soccer will assist in the daily management of the women's soccer program with specific duties of providing physical training and skill development of the student-athletes as well as the recruitment of potential student-athletes.
Position Duties
In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, this position has been designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). CSAs are individuals at the University who, because of their function at the University, have an obligation under the Clery Act to notify the University of alleged Clery Crimes that are reported to them in good faith, or alleged Clery Crimes that they may personally witness. CSAs will be required to complete training with respect to the Clery Act and the responsibilities of a CSA.
Supervision Exercised
The Associate Head coach will supervise the student-athletes and team managers. This position will oversee student and part-time staff as it relates to game operations
Position Qualifications
Work Hours
Hours vary and are based on practice and game schedules. The majority of the position’s duties will be performed during the school year, encompassing the game, practice, and instructional season, with some duties being performed during the remainder of the year. During that period, the employee will be expected to be on-call and will be asked to report to work on a frequent, though not necessarily daily, basis; evenings, weekends, and some holiday periods.
