The Assistant Soccer Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in the overall development and implementation of the Women's Soccer program. This will include all areas of recruiting from correspondence to evaluations to visits, coaching and leadership of current student-athletes, administrative duties, working with any camps and clinics and any additional duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

JOB FUNCTIONS 

Recruiting

  • Recruit quality student-athletes who qualify academically and have soccer fundamentals and attitude to participate and compete at the highest level. Organize recruiting- tournaments/database/etc. Assist with recruiting efforts, mailings, emails, personal notes and phone calls to both potential student athletes and club/high school coaches.
  • Scout talent in person and from videos sent. Record good recruiting notes and ratings into database.
  • Arrange details for official and unofficial visits.
  • Evaluate transcripts with academic department and clearinghouse and know admissions procedures.
  • Document all recruiting activities.
  • Be responsible for all NCAA rules, regulations, changes and successful completion of the coach’s certification test.
  • Maintain recruiting budget.
