Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach/ Head JV Volleyball Coach

Job Summary (As will be listed in handbook):Duties as assigned by the head coach in all aspects of the volleyball program which includes but is not limited to: game preparation, practice planning and execution, recruiting, and academic monitoring.

Head JV Coach Duties Include: recruiting, player management, academic monitoring, Game Scheduling, travel management, Budget management and everyday practice scheduling and planning, As well as planning fundraising efforts.

Job Duties: Primary duties will be assisting in practice and at Varsity matches, planning and participating in all aspects of recruiting while abiding by all NCAA bylaws and rules. You will also be the primary Head Coach for the Development Team which includes recruiting, travel, and practice management. The successful candidate must understand the role of intercollegiate athletics in a challenging academic environment which values the physical, intellectual, and spiritual development of each student.

Individuals Supervised: Graduate Assistant

Qualifications: Previous experience as a player or coach at the collegiate level or high school and/or club coaching experience.

A person guided by Christian principles - Bachelor’s degree required (master’s degree preferred)
