The Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics sponsors 24 intercollegiate sports, comprised of 14 women’s and 10 men’s programs, that compete at the Division I level. The Scarlet Knights are members of the prestigious Big Ten Conference, the nation’s premier academic and athletic conference, after officially joining the league on July 1, 2014. Known as “The Birthplace of College Football, Rutgers hosted Princeton on Nov. 6, 1869 in the first intercollegiate football game, with RU earning a 6-4 victory.

- Bachelor’s Degree.

- A valid driver’s license would be required for this position.

| Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities |
- Previous recruiting experience (5 years preferred).
- High level knowledge of all social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, SnapChat, and YouTube.
- Knowledge of NCAA Rules – This position shall have a strong working knowledge and understanding of all NCAA rules and regulations regarding compliance issues.
- High level intrapersonal and communication skills in order to relate with current and prospective student athletes, athletic department personnel and media.
- Computer literacy.
- Demonstrated regular and predictable attendance.

| Preferred Qualifications |
- Master’s Degree.
- Collegiate playing experience (Division 1, 2, 3 or NAIA).
- Knowledge of Big Ten Conference and NCAA regulations.
- Experience with DataVolley.

- Must be able to use a computer, email, editing equipment and recruiting database software.
