Essential Duties:
Apply NowThe Assistant Football Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in all aspects of the Knox College football program including but not limited to; executing a successful recruiting and retention plan as assigned; integrating the program into the campus community; scheduling, planning, and supervising practices and contests as assigned; assist with the management of the program’s operating budget; assist with administering all aspects of the programs ensuring compliance with departmental, institutional, Midwest Conference (MWC) and NCAA rules and regulations; alumni and booster engagement; assist with the programs social media activity as assigned; assist with equipment purchasing, distribution and maintenance as needed; attend all required department meetings, complete all administrative assignments, and attend all required functions as designated by the Head Coach, Athletics Department and/or the Director of Athletics; additional coaching and administrative duties as assigned. Must pass the NCAA rules compliance test and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations. Will work with the Director of Athletics and the Athletic Department Administration to ensure that all athletes are academically eligible, medically cleared and properly insured. Must provide support and encouragement and ensure the safety and well-being of the student-athletes within the NCAA Division III philosophy. Collegial respect and professionalism are expected and required.
