• Knowledge of in-game statistics and website software (SIDEARM Sports, PrestoStats, StatCrew).
• Experience with various Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Premier).
• Excellent editing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and driven.
• Self-motivated.
• Ability and willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Ability and willingness to attend campus events.
• Some travel may be required.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Desired:

• At least one-year of experience in college athletic communication/sports information department.
• Experience with photography and videography.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as primary contact for select sports assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications.
• Write and edit various communication materials, game recaps, game notes, and sport-specific content for the department’s website.
• Keep in-game statistics using NCAA Live Stats, PrestoSports, and/or Stat Crew.

• Assist with game day management, including video streaming of home events.

• Participate in the planning and execution of social media marketing campaigns.

• Assist in the production of game programs for various sports.

• Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Athletic Communications.

Compensation

• Full cost of tuition for graduate courses up to 9 hours per semester.
• Yearly stipend.
• Housing options available on campus.
