Posting Summary

Serve as a public relations liaison for the University of Vermont Athletic Department through the Athletic Communications Office and CatamounTV unit. athletics teams to media outlets. Develop game day game summaries; reporting results to all media outlets; record statistics and reporting information to conference and

NCAA

offices; designing and editing game programs. Work in concert with various administrators, coaching staffs, athletic marketing, ticket personnel, Vermont Sport Properties, constituents on and off campus and ESPN3. Serve as a liaison to members of the media, produce videos, new releases, and assist in maintaining UVMatheltics.com website.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field, proficiency in digital media environments and two to three years’ experience in video production required. Effective computer skills along with proficiency with software to support area needs and

. Effective writing and communication skills and a working knowledge of and interest in athletics required.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience with Quark, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Statcrew/Automated Scorebook, and email desirable.

Anticipated Pay Range

$42,000 - $45,000 @ 11-month term

Other Information

Depending on final wage for top candidate,
