Should incumbents work more than a total of 999 hours in a year the appointment may not continue beyond one year of service.
Assist Colgate Athletic Communications staff at assigned home varsity athletic events as well as with remote project work. Job duties include, but are not limited to, writing press releases, event recaps and other website content, live tweeting events, creating social and promotional graphics, assisting with the production for the ESPN+ livestream broadcast, delivering play by play or color commentary on the broadcast, keeping statistics, operating a video camera, updating rosters and bios on the website, and organizing photosMust pay attention to detail. Opportunity to learn new skills in a fun, fast-paced environment. Former student employees in Colgate’s athletics marketing and communications office have gone on to secure full-time employment at such prestigious organizations as the NCAA, Syracuse University, Northwestern University, Northeastern University, Princeton University, Duke University, USA Hockey, as well as various minor-league professional sports teams and leagues.
