1. Athletic Communications GA –
Bethany College (WV) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications. The Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications will assist the Director of Athletic Communications with publicity efforts for the College’s 22-sport athletic program.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be the primary communications contact for several team sports, and other sport coverage as assigned. Primary responsibilities will include: updating and managing the college's athletic website (BethanyBison.com); writing game and event recaps; assisting in design of athletic graphics and social media efforts; compiling team statistics and records; compiling in-game statistics; reporting results to local, regional, and hometown media; monitoring and providing social media content and assisting with game operations. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, energetic, work well on tight deadlines and possess the ability to manage several projects at once. Ability to work weekends as well as nights is required, along with occasional travel. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A bachelor's degree, previous experience in a sports information office, previous experience with Stat Crew Software or NCAA Live Stats strongly preferred. Strong writing skills, a solid understanding of sports and sports statistics, experience working with a wide variety of sports also strongly preferred.

2. Women’s Volleyball GA –
Bethany College (WV) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Graduate Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach. The Graduate Assistant will assistant the Head Coach in planning practices, game preparation, coordinating travel, recruiting of prospective student-athletes, monitor player academics, and other duties as assigned.
The Graduate Assistant will report directly to the Head Coach, and work closely with the student-athletes, Athletic Trainers, other coaches and support staff. They will need to have an understanding of and adhere to NCAA and PAC rules and regulations.

The Graduate Assistant will assistant the Head Coach in planning practices, training goalkeepers, game preparation, coordinating travel, recruiting of prospective student-athletes, monitor player academics, and other duties as assigned.
The Graduate Assistant will report directly to the Head Coach, and work closely with the student-athletes, Athletic Trainers, other coaches and support staff. They will need to have an understanding of and adhere to NCAA and PAC rules and regulations.
