Position Overview

Butler University is seeking a part-time intern to join our Athletic Development team as an Athletics Development Assistant. This position will offer day-to-day administrative support to the athletics department and will manage a variety of tasks associated with game day operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with gameday hospitality support (access and logistics) and oversee gameday workers including scheduling (FB and MBB)
• Assist with gift processing and Donor Relations & Stewardship
• Assist with staff and student-athlete giving as needed
• Provide Bulldog Club administrative support as needed
• Assist with social media management and digital media assets
• Execute Bulldog Club Gameday Hospitality (i.e. football, men's basketball, and women's basketball) and special events planning and logistics
• Solicit football, men's basketball and women's basketball season ticket holders for hospitality opportunities
• Place outgoing team specific solicitations
• Other One-Off Athletic Events (Team Specific Engagement Events)

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Organizational skills; ability to multi-task/manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated flexibility, creativity, strategic-thinking skills; willingness to take initiative and learn.
• Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills along with strong customer service skills
• Proven ability to work independently, collaboratively and within a team structure.

• Proficiency in office software systems such as: MS Word, Office, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
