Description
Position Title: Athletic Director
Reports To: President
Department: Athletics
Classification: Full-Time, 12-Month, Exempt, Benefits Eligible
POSITION SUMMARY
The Athletic Director provides visionary leadership and comprehensive oversight of all intercollegiate athletic programs at LeMoyne-Owen College. This role is responsible for the strategic direction, administration, and operational excellence of the athletics department, including personnel management, student-athlete success, compliance, budgeting, facilities, and external relations.
The Athletic Director advances a culture of excellence that aligns with the mission, values, and legacy of LeMoyne-Owen College, with a strong emphasis on student-athlete academic achievement, competitive success, character development, and post-graduate readiness.
The Athletic Director reports directly to the President and serves as a key member of the College’s leadership team.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects. The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
