Inventory Management - Maintain an accurate inventory per the policies and procedures set forth by the department supervisor; and receive/issue inventory accurately through the ACS inventory management program.
Budget Management - Forecast and order equipment on a need basis under the supervision of the Director of Equipment operations
Supervision - Direct oversight of student equipment manager program for men's and women's basketball. Recruit, hire, supervise and terminate student equipment managers.
Assist with equipment day to day operations of the basketball team make sure all student-athletes, coaches, staff, and any personnel have what they need to carry out their job on a daily basis. Monitor inventory, monitor laundry processing, monitor student assistants, monitor the basketball equipment budget
Fit athletes for equipment, properly fit basketball student athletes for protective equipment based off of NOCSEA standards and manufacturer standards
Performs other related duties and/or projects as assigned
Salary- commensurate with experience
Minimum Qualifications: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and three years experience in management of athletic equipment which includes one year of supervisory experience or seven years of experience in management of athletic equipment which includes one year of supervisory experience or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree.

• SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements

• (a) Two years of direct experience for an associate degree;
• (b) Four years of direct experience for a bachelor’s degree;
• (c) Six years of direct experience for a master’s degree;
• (d) Seven years of direct experience for a professional degree; or
• (e) Nine years of direct experience for a doctoral degree
• Related work experience may not substitute for any required licensure, certification, or registration required for the position of employment as established by the public employer and indicated in the advertised description of the position of employment.
• Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.

Preferred Qualifications: Prior collegiate athletic equipment experience preferred.
