Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, nights and weekends as scheduled for events.
$12.00 per hour
Bachelor’s Degree. At least 1 year of experience in athletic facilities.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Masters preferred, and experience working within and
NCAA
Division I athletics department, preferably with experience in facilities, game operations, and/or event management.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Acquire full knowledge of Charlotte athletic facilities
Assist in the setup and tear down of each facility for events
Assist the Director of Athletic Facilities with duties involved in operations of all Charlotte Athletic Facilities
Assist Associate Director of Athletic Events and Assistant Director of Athletic Events & Facilities to ensure all athletic events are run at a professional level
Assist in managing student work force at events
Conduct a weekly facility walk through and complete facility checklists for each facility
Ensure each facility is event ready
Collaborate with other departments within Athletics to foster a dynamic cross-functional line of communication
Act as primary game day manager (or secondary manager) for assigned sports. Coordinate
communications with visiting team and officials as needed
Act as event manager to outside groups renting facilities.
Other duties as assigned.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
