Are you passionate about sports and skilled in facility management? Do you have a knack for coaching and mentoring athletes? We're seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to fill the dual role of Athletics Facilities Coordinator and Assistant Baseball Coach at St. Ambrose University.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Athletics Facilities Coordinator:
Oversee daily operations and maintenance of athletic facilities.
Ensure all facilities are in top condition for events and practices by coordinating with Facilities, Athletics, and Assumption High School.
Coordinate scheduling and usage of athletic spaces.
Manage inventory and procurement of facility equipment and supplies.
Liaise with vendors, contractors, and staff for facility improvements and repairs.
Assistant Baseball Coach:
Assist the head coach in developing and implementing training programs.
Work with players on skill development, strategy, and game preparation.
Help manage game-day operations and team logistics.
Support recruitment efforts and assist with scouting and evaluation.
Foster a positive and motivating environment for players.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Physical Education, or a related field.
Experience in facility management or a similar role preferred.
Proven coaching experience, preferably in baseball.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
