●Reporting to the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Facilities, this position is responsible for the oversight of specifically assigned facilities to be sure that all mechanical systems are in good working order, proper general maintenance and repairs are being addressed , and that contracted vendors are performing at optimal levels care and attention. This position will assist the Athletic Facility Operations and Event Management Department with general management of the day-to-day operations of the Siegel Center, Thalhimer Tennis Center, Sports Backers Stadium, Sports Medicine Building, 1109 Student-Athlete Support Building, Basketball Development Center, Bowe Locker Rooms/Rehab and Baseball Player Development Center.
● Perform general maintenance and repair work as needed on a daily basis.
● Responsible for the oversight of specifically assigned facilities to be sure that all mechanical systems are in good working order, proper general maintenance and repairs are being addressed, and that contracted vendors are performing at optimal levels of care and attention.
●Act as department's secondary liaison with outside contractors and the general public.
●Meeting with outside contractors to explain work requirements and oversee work done.
●Coordinate and supervise the set-up and tear-down of all athletic events, special events, and meetings at the assigned facilities. Assist in the supervision and monitoring of proper use and care of all facilities (i.e., housekeeping, etc.). Employee will serve as liaison, planner and event coordinator for various facilities users.
●This position will supervise student and temporary hourly workers; serve as a liaison for the facilities department working with students, other areas within the athletic department, University personnel (i.e. Physical Plant Staff working in athletic facilities), outside contractors, and the general-public. This position must be able to interact successfully with a diverse set of constituents; ability to follow multiple task directives; ability to prioritize and work a wide assortment of tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications
●The successful candidate will have:
○1) a high level of mechanical aptitude; 2) excellent organizational and time management skills; 3) the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment; 4) general knowledge of facility risk management; 5) outstanding customer service skills and be able to interact with a diverse set of constituents.
●Applicant must have a high school diploma, be willing and able to work nights and weekends, and possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

●Applicant must be physically able and willing to lift and move chairs, table and other equipment (over 50lbs). Applicant must be able and willing to use a ladder, walk through bleachers & stairs, and perform various other physically challenging tasks.
●Prior experience in public facilities and/or facilities management is preferred.
