Summary of Job Duties: This position reports to the Facilities Management Coordinator to achieve organized and efficient weekend security check of all University of Arkansas Athletic Department facilities. This position requires the monitoring and operation of all athletic facilities, checking of internal & external locks, and doors and turning off lights for all athletic facilities. Monitor and operate automated building controls serving the athletic facility complex: checking for any systems that may go into alarm and investigating them as needed, operating lighting controls, adjusting air handling units as instructed by supervisor or Digital Controls staff on site. Monitoring and operating Avigilon cameras systems in all athletic facilities: this includes searching recordings and regular monitoring of different cameras throughout facilities, assisting with security requests around the Stadium or other athletic venues.
This position functions closely with other staff and departments to work as a team, but also requires the ability to work and make decisions independently. Therefore, good public relations and communication skills are imperative due to the extent of interaction with the fans and staff.
This will require a great amount of trustworthiness considering the access and handling of sensitive items (i.e. keys, FOB, cell phone, etc.). An assigned cell phone for work use/purposes and a vehicle will also be provided.
Schedule: Thursday-Saturday, 3pm-11pm (flexibility is avaliable)
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
