Position Summary:

The Game Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating sporting events on campus. This position is governed by state and federal laws and institutional policy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• The Game Operations Supervisor will report to the Assistant AD for Athletic Operations and Facilities
• Help maintain assigned athletic facilities, oversee staffing for assigned athletic events, and work with coaches for everyday practice needs
• This person will also work with the facilities management in the upkeep and needs of athletic facilities
• Operate and manage Volleyball (Fall), Women’s Basketball (Winter-Spring), Baseball (Spring), Men/Women’s Golf
• Assists with supervising student assistants
• Assists with creation of various game operation documents
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Knowledge of athletic events and facilities and organized activities.
Knowledge of maintenance and construction of athletic facilities.
Ability to plan, coordinate, and organize use of athletic facilities.
Ability to supervise the work of subordinates.
Ability to access maintenance and construction needs.
Ability to perform maintenance and construction tasks.

General Days/Hours:

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance

This position is considered Essential Personnel in Facilities Management

Minimum Qualifications:

An earned Bachelor’s degree is required.

Two to three (2-3) years of experience at the collegiate level in facilities and event management is required.
