Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Summary: The Athletic Intern will work with the Athletic Department staff and student athletes in an intern position. The incumbent will assist in the everyday duties as specified by the internship.
Additional Department Summary: Assist with all primary medical care for athletes in an assigned sport including daily treatment and rehabilitation. Aid in coverage of all practices or related activities for the sport and program. Provide transportation of athletes to appointments and procedures. Assist with upkeep and inventory of all athletic training room supplies. Aid with management of all athletic training undergraduate students. Have the capacity to travel for all related activity including competition and all supplementary duties as assigned.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any field, OR individuals currently enrolled in college completing their undergraduate studies.
Skills and Knowledge: Basic knowledge of NCAA Division I policies and procedures. Experience working with a diverse student population and understanding of multicultural issues. Creative thinking and problem solving skills.
