Graduate Assistant for Athletics Game Experience Graphic Design and Display

The University seeks a Graduate Assistant for Athletics Game Experience Graphic Design and Display
on the main campus. Graduate Assistant appointments are made in collaboration with the Vice President of
GPS and the Coordinator of Athletic Development. This position is 20 hours per week and is a full tuition
benefit extending through the duration of the student’s Master’s program. Stipends, textbooks, and computers

Qualifications:
The ability to prepare/present and display creative ideas and concepts for creative team
Desire to work with Kokosing Videoboard creation, development and display for athletic events.
Create several concurrent projects and work with a given deadline for media and graphic design.
A developed prowess for all elements of design and layout, with attention to specific marketing and branding
criteria.
Basic desire to gain an upper hand in public display of graphic creation.
A strong work ethic to be part of a fast-paced, team-oriented group with its purpose to enhance fan interaction
and current loyalty program.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite, Canva, Creative Engine, CAPCUT as well as graphic video creation.
Responsibilities:
Assist with filming, creation and proposal layout and edits for Kokosing Videoboards
Create several concurrent projects and work within a given deadline.
Use your talent to independently develop specified graphics and coordinate with the Game Management and
Experience personnel.
Be a member of a small team that MUST work as one.
Update, create, and develop graphics and schedules for the PAW PERKS loyalty app
Create graphics for the National Championship Drive “Thankful Thursday”.
Supervise and run Kokosing Videoboards during athletic contests within Ariel Arena
Create, develop and produce in partnership with the OHSAA for our hosting of state tournaments
Assist in brainstorming concepts for upcoming projects.
Assist and coordinate in potential
Assist the Game Experience and Management GA as needed on specific game related duties
Other duties as assigned.
Assist with coordinating workers to assist with graphics as well as game experience opportunities
Expectations for the successful candidate:
• Bachelor degree or equivalent;
• Acceptance into a MVNU Graduate program;
• Evangelical Christian statement of faith, experience and mission fit;
• Must be capable of sitting, walking or standing for long periods of time, frequent use of stairs, ability to
lift 25 pounds.
