Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Administration or related field and One (1) year of experience with a collegiate or professional football program; experience may include work as a collegiate graduate assistant, full-time position coach, and/or NFL scouting experience. Knowledge of NCAA and ACC rules and regulations. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays, and travel for competition. Grade 6 (Salaried)
Position Description:
The Athletic Recruiting Specialist I (Assistant Recruiting Coordinator – Football) will support the Athletic Recruiting Specialist II (Recruiting Coordinator – Football) and Manager, Football Recruiting (Director of Football Recruiting) with recruiting prospective student-athletes for the University of Louisville Football Program.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the Athletic Recruiting Specialist II (Recruiting Coordinator – Football) to develop brand strategies that enhance recruiting efforts and support the overall recruitment process.
Assist Athletic Recruiting Specialist II (Recruiting Coordinator – Football) and Manager, Football Recruiting (Director of Football Recruiting) in evaluating potential prospects.
Work with Athletic Recruiting Specialist II (Recruiting Coordinator – Football), Manager, Football Recruiting (Director of Football Recruiting), and Assistant Coaches to execute recruiting plans, develop talent, and evaluate recruiting, game, and practice video.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach, Chief of Staff, and Manager, Football Recruiting (Director of Football Recruiting).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Working experience in a collegiate, Division I FBS Football program.
Working knowledge of XOS or other related digital coaching software, Hudl, and Twitter.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Effective administrative and organizational skills and ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks and projects according to deadlines.
Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
