Athletic Trainer

Provide athletic training services for varsity student-athletes, including acute care, rehabilitation and health & performance education. Responsible for supporting the mission and philosophy of the Center for Health and Wellbeing, Division of Student Affairs and the University of Vermont. Bachelor’s Degree in Health care related field and two years athletic training experience with collegiate athletics. BOC Certified Athletic Trainer; Vermont Licensed or eligible for licensing. Knowledge of computer software to assist with scheduling, networking, and student instruction. Effective interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated commitment to health care of student-athletes and to diversity and inclusiveness.
Master’s degree
Non-standard work hours required, Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position
