Millikin University, an NCAA Division III institution and member of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin, is seeking an Athletic Trainer who is responsible for providing comprehensive sports medicine services to student-athletes, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. The Athletic Trainer collaborates with coaches, physicians, and university staff to ensure safe participation in athletic programs. Sport assignment is flexible but preferably seeking a year-round football assignment (football in fall, women’s flag football and off-season football training in spring).

PHYSICAL EFFORT: Occasionally sitting at a desk or table; ability to stand for extended periods and respond quickly in emergency situations; occasional lifting 25 lbs. or less; intermittently sitting/standing; hearing and visual acuity within normal range; ability to stoop, kneel and crouch occasionally; high degree of mobility required. Dexterity to operate a keyboard.
WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in athletic training facilities, gymnasiums, and outdoor athletic fields. Exposure to varying weather conditions during outdoor events. Ability to travel with the team, either by vehicle or plane.
