The Certified Athletic Trainer & Fitness Center Coordinator is a full-time, 12-month exempt professional position responsible for providing comprehensive athletic training services to Yakima Valley College student-athletes and coordinating the daily operations of the YVC Fitness Center. This role promotes student success by delivering injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation services; ensuring compliance with NWAC and institutional health and safety standards; and managing fitness center programs that support a diverse student population, including individuals with disabilities.
This position exercises independent professional judgment, requires specialized certification and state licensure, and performs responsibilities with minimal supervision in coordination with the Director of Athletics and the Dean of Student Services.
