Pay Grade/Pay Range: $48,600 - $72,900 (Salaried E7)


Department/Organization: 208449 - UMC Sports Medicine


Normal Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm; some evening/weekend hours as needed


Job Summary: The Athletic Trainer II assists in the initial evaluation of injuries or illness sustained by an athlete. Identifies injury/illness risk factors associated with participation in competitive sports. Provides health care information and counsel to athletes, parents, and coaches. Provides guidance and training to entry-level trainers.


Additional Department Summary: The Athletic Trainer II supports patient services at the University Medical Center Sports Medicine Clinic. Assists in the treatment and healing plan for muscular-skeletal injury/disease rehabilitation for a full spectrum of patients, including athletes, children, and adults. May provide guidance and training to clinical learners.
