The Naval Academy Athletic Association (NAAA), founded in 1891, is a nonprofit organization whose objective is to "promote, influence, and assist in financing the varsity athletic programs of the midshipmen of the United States Naval Academy" in accordance with the policy of the Superintendent of the Academy. Through an intercollegiate athletics program that is one of the largest in the country, every midshipman, male and female, is afforded the opportunity to compete in athletics at the Division I level. The emphasis on physical fitness is borne out in the first line of the mission of the U.S. Naval Academy: To develop midshipmen morally, mentally and physically.

The Naval Academy Athletic Association is accepting applications for Intern Certified Athletic Trainers. These positions are 10-month appointments starting July 16, 2025 and ending May 15, 2026. Sport assignments will be determined at a later date.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the athletic training staff with sports medicine care to all student athletes as needed, daily operation and maintenance of the sports medicine facilities, along with daily practice coverage and travel with the assigned team. The Intern Athletic Trainers will also be expected to perform administrative duties, along with other duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Medicine.
