Athletic Trainer Intern Football

The intern will work 40+ hours per week. May work nights and weekends based on the schedule of OSU athletic events. This position has responsibilities assigned to Ohio State Football and has an appointment term of 12 months beginning June 1, 2025 and ending May 31, 2026, with possibility of renewal for second year. The Athletic Trainer Intern will work closely with full time staff to provide comprehensive medical care. They will also assist with coordination and direction of students in ATEP. This is an entry level, career based internship and is intended for professional development of an applicant with only 6 to 24 months practical experience. This position is focused on furthering knowledge and skills in the field of Athletic Training. Internship positions are appointed on an annual basis. This position works in a creative and collaborative team environment where change is embraced and innovation is encouraged.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's level degree required. Successful completion of BOC Certification Examination by the beginning of internship and ability to obtain a License to practice Athletic Training in the State of Ohio. Preferred independent travel experience.
