This role requires a flexible schedule based on athletic event demands. Work hours will include weekdays, evenings, and weekends depending on practice schedules, games, and special events. Some travel to away games and tournaments will be required.
UK HealthCare Sports Medicine is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Athletic Trainer. Your primary focus will be the daily medical coverage, injury prevention, assessment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play planning for athletes within the university’s athletics system. You’ll act as a liaison between players, coaches, and healthcare professionals to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of athletes.

Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training required; Master’s degree preferred. National Athletic Trainers Association Board of Certification (NATA BOC) Required. Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure (KBML) Licensure or eligibility at time of hire. Experience working with collegiate athletes. Prior outreach/field-based AT experience preferred.
