Position Overview
The Temporary Athletic Trainer will assist the Head Athletic Trainer with the overall administration of the athletic training program. Primary responsibility will be supervision and management of athletic training services for assigned sports teams. Additional responsibilities will include injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation; maintaining accurate medical records, practice and game/event coverage, including travel. The selected candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively with the head athletic trainer, team physicians, and coaches.Additional duties may be assigned. 10 month appointment. Work schedule vary based on sport assignment.

Our staff of certified athletic trainers and team physicians are responsible for the wellness of approximately 350 student-athletes. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Travel required.
Master’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field preferred.
NATABOC Certification, Eligible for NC licensure.
