Overview

Utah State University is seeking qualified applicants for a 12 month Athletic Training Residency position. Position will oversee the day to day operations of a Division 1 Football program. Will work on a daily basis with Athletic Trainers, Team Physicians and Team Physical Therapist.

Must be NATABOC certificated and eligible for state licensing in Utah.

This will be a 12 month position at $1,850 per month.

Responsibilities

• Daily sport coverage for the football program.
• Day-to-day management of injuries.
• Evaluations, treatment, and rehab of student-athletes.
• This includes daily communication with coaches, doctors and other medical professionals.
• Will work with other Assistant Athletic Trainers to cover sports practices and events.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree
• Must be NATABOC certificated and eligible for state licensing in Utah
• Graduate from an CAATE accredit program.

This position requires considerable physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs.) and/or pushing and pulling of heavy objects.
