Athletics Administrative Coordinator (aHEO) - Athletics
POSITION DETAILS
Under the daily supervision of the director of athletics, this role provides clerical and administrative support to Athletics programs, offices, and projects. Supports projects, initiatives, operations, and activities that impact Lehman Athletics. Maintains department fiscal plans and budgets; assists in budget administration, purchasing, and invoice and receipt processing. Manages basic office functions such as communications, meeting schedules, work plans, staff assignments, and distributing information. Under supervision, performs miscellaneous clerical, administrative, research or other work related to the operation of a College or other unit where such work is required. Type letters, memoranda, charts, and similar materials. Assists in statistical or research activities. May collect and compile data, code data for computer entry, perform data entry, and run computer reports. Enters and maintains departmental records such as inventory control
records, rosters, directories, and schedules. Organizes and maintains paper and electronic files using established procedures; retrieves files as requested. Prepares, reviews, corrects, administratively codes, and processes routine office forms, using established standards; performs basic calculations and computations to complete forms. Assists with all scheduled departmental events including but not limited to the annual sports banquet. Prepares purchase requisitions and procurement card purchase requests; purchases supplies and equipment; processes invoices; routes for appropriate signatures; and distributes. Distributes purchased items as they arrive. Reconciles monthly reports, including but not limited to expense reports. Attends all departmental meetings and records minutes and attendance for monthly athletic staff meetings; and participates in university committees as needed to support departmental initiatives; and provides other support to executive team as needed. Maintains department facilities calendar, including conference room and rentals. Enters department work orders. May supervise office staff and student workers. Handles confidential departmental information in accordance with established policies and procedures. Interfaces with students and visitors as initial point of contact for office. Assists in processing and tracking APEX fitness center memberships and onboarding of new staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required. Three to four years of athletics administrative or other comparable experience preferred.

Salary commensurate with education and experience, $52,426.
