Missouri University of Science and Technology (S&T) is seeking applicants for the Director of Athletic Communications position. S&T is a 17-sport NCAA Division II Intercollegiate program competing in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC). The selected candidate must have excellent writing skills and be highly organized with the ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The person will be responsible for the overall supervision, organization, and management of the Sports Information Office including the development, coordination, and implementation of effective communication strategies and initiatives recognizing teams, student-athletes, and staff for their achievements.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, along with traveling with teams to select events is required.
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $52,000 -$59,000 annually.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
